Mr. Brian Muller



Brian Muller is a graduate of Western Connecticut State University where he studied Choral Conducting under the directorship of Dr. Kevin Issacs.  He also holds undergraduate degrees from Concordia College, Bronxville, NY where he studied conducting under Ralph C. Schultz and organ studies under Dr. Richard Heschke.

An active educator, conductor and musician, he has served the Chorale as its leader for the past 12 years, reshaping and transforming its programs to meet the needs of the community, while striving for musical integrity and growth.  During the week he teachers middle school choruses at Greens Farms Academy in Westport, CT and serves as the school's Audio-Visual Technical Director.

Stepping out of the classroom, Mr. Muller also produces, directors and provides technical assistance to GFA's stage productions.  Mr. Muller also serves at Zion Lutheran Church in Stamford and organist and choir master as well as serving the Norwalk Quartette Club Singers as music director.  He holds membership in the Connecticut Music Educator Association (CMEA), the American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), and the American Guild of Organists (AGO).  Mr. Muller and also served on the Connecticut Commission for the Arts as a music-choral panelist and as a music consultant for the New England Saengerund Society.
